Decided to get the old flight stick out of the garage. Repair, renovate and replace the stick with a longer one.
Fix some issues with the original design and take the Harvard for a spin at Duxford.
Must be two years since I last flew. Forgot how good FSX is.
Some oldies...

There were a few `Ooohs` though when I landed.
Think I need new tires, and probably clean undies :-)

That would do it (continuing to snigger)
TBH.. I've no idea why I'm in such a jolly mood this morning. Work called up yesterday and asked if I'd go in to do a shift this morning. To their complete surprise, I said yes It was an easy shift anyway and I was short on hours last week. Got up this morning at 5:30.. had a shower, got dressed and as I was about to go downstairs.. brrring-brrring went the mobile and I could see it was Sainsbury's. Picked the phone up and the girl who'd asked if I could do the shift apologised for calling me at this time of the day saying that they'd looked at the runs for today and I wasn't needed so could stay home if I wanted So.. here I am.. out of uniform and in civvies and it's 20 past 6 in the morning. SWMBO also got up at 5:30 and made me sandwiches. I think work will have a worse time placating her than me The sun is up (and has since gone again!!) and looking outside, I see rain on the windscreen of mamsabs car. Perhaps it's all turned out for the best
