Re: HS748 question

Feeling much better after a successful flight completion. Power management was watched a bit more closely, and I must say that I am really warming to this aircraft. JF has a high bar to jump over, with their future payware offering.

Re: Just Flight HS748

I feel you, Joe. Issues with flying Rick's 748 brought me back to this board for the first time in a decade. I have not given up on it, however.

Re: I'm afraid I'm done with JF

The JF Connie does have one redeeming value; the soundset. I use it with Manfred's Connies, and all works well. I'm not much of a 146 flyer, but would bite on the CLS version, if JF decided to run a clearance sale on the boxed edition. When the QW product can be had for less, and is better liked, th...

Re: HS748 question

Fuel heaters employed, and engine anti-ice on low. I'm doing mid-day Air North flights, where the outdoor ambient temperatures are not extreme. I was simply wondering why this aircraft seems so...unforgiving, for lack of a better word.

HS748 question

I've been reading up on this little bird, and really enjoy the immersive aspects. It seems to function just fine in my FSX Gold Edition/Win10 machine. WHY oh WHY do both of my engines shut down, about 10 minutes after reaching cruise altitude?? The manual seems to offer no clues. I've got the fuel t...

Today

Precisely 5 years ago this morning as I type this, commercial aviation changed forever, as did the lives of millions, through the unspeakable actions of terrorists. For my non-American friends here at CBFS, I ask that you please remember the words of some enlightened Europeans, including the Preside...

You know you have too much downloaded when you can't remember your obscure freeware. Oh well, at least my stuff all works.

I did some more exploring of the nooks and crannies of my add-on scenery. It appears that I am using Toni Agramont's Kingdom of Morocco freeware. Europe is covered by FS Terrain 76m mesh at 40% with full autogen. Hope that helps.

[quote="DaveB"]Nice shots LH  Is that Casablanca the new(ish) payware one?? I toyed with the idea of buying it but resisted on the grounds that I'd probably go there once or twice and never again!! quote] Nope, it's the default scenery. I've actually been to Casablanca (back in...
