Bingo! I,ve got the YS-11 sounds now. Not as god as the originals I had but I've got my spot view back. (I just looked in the mirror!)

Thanks both for your advice. I already run my sound at medium quality, so I tried LOW and what did I get? Total silence! Now, there's no rhyme or reason in this, but I switched to high quality sound and the HS 748 worked fine in Spot view. I even added complicated skyscape. But it was not to last ...

I have got a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS card. Also the Wings of Power Liberator is complex but not as much as 748. I've also got PMDG 737 which is very complex but no problem. CPU= Athlon 64 3500 with 1GB PC3200 DDR RAM.
