Re: SkySIM news
I don't think Drilling systems put any time or effort into Skysim. Somebody just expected it to be a cash cow and run itself. I am sad and disappointed to hear it is going to mean you losing your job Rick, but I think the talent you and Brian have is a rare one and working with you both has been som...

Re: Skysim Sea Vixen
Brian, I believe under the original agreement both you and Jim maintained the rights to your original source code. Skysim (Drilling Systems) could only ever hold the rights to the finished product (and also only the FS9 version). So from my understanding you are free to use the source code however y...

RAF Scampton
Just to let those who may be interested know. Scampton from Team SBD is now available at the Skysim site.

Re: Who are these people???
To be honest, I don't think the Hurricane is a bad effort - well put it this way when compared to this (these) model(s) that we are talking about, it is of PMDG quality.
I say it again these are BY FAR the worst models I have EVER seen put out as payware.

Re: Who are these people???
Sometimes it is not numpties that do the purchasing. Mothers, wives and girlfriends will see the aircraft that their particular loved one will favour. And if they (the loved one in question) owned a previous version like the Just Flight or DSB one, it would be reasonable to think (to the un-initiate...

Re: Who are these people???
I've seen it in the flesh and added a suitable warning to my earlier post.

Re: Public Service Announcement
As if I need to add, stay away from the Tornado as well. It is simply bloody awful. I honestly don't understand how any company can put that kind of stuff out and expect anyone to pay for it!

Public Service Announcement
Just had a look at the F4 Phantom by First Class Simulations and for anyone thinking of taking a punt on it. Don't. This has got to be the worst one I have seen for FSX.

Re: TrackIR 4Pro?
The Track IR is a very good product. There is 1 main caveat though that no one seems to mention. It MUST be used in subdued lighting. So if you fly during daylight hours with your system set up in the conservatory forget it. And if flying in said subdued light then the other thing that becomes incre...

Re: Alphasim to go all civvy...........
I think because most people travel in a Smarties packet every now and then. If they have the slightest inclination towards flightsim then thats the add-on they will buy. The connesiour will try something a little more exotic. It's just a matter of making the units sold into profit and how muchh prof...
