Re: Documentary: Downfall - The Case Against Boeing

....and wasn't the switch that was supposed to cure the problem an optional fit? Keith Not exactly. Re: British F35 crashes into Mediterranean

The circumstances make it even harder to understand why they're having trouble locating it. I assumed it had been a relatively high speed crash remote from the carrier. It won't have sunk straight down, essentially it will have flown underwater potentially for quite some distance. Of course locatin...

You can also see the pilo...

Re: Could This be the End of Steam Railways?

Remember being told ten years ago or so the main threat to warbirds wasn't a shortage of engine parts it would be the lack of the right fuels and lubricants because it wouldn't be cost effective for it to be produced.

Re: MSFS 2020 First Impressions

Peter,

That's what I've got and the only limitation I seem to have is when too many other people are using the internet while I'm flying!

Kai Tak for MSFS

Couldn't see it anywhere else here but there's now a decent freeware Kai Tak for MSFS at https://flightsim.to/file/4713/hong-kong-kai-tak There's a slight issue if you get the MSFS marketplace Sam Scene Hong Kong scenery, in that there's a cruise liner terminal on the 31 threshold! I believe the dev...

Re: FS2020 Mach Loop

I've noticed it seems to assume any flat-ish roofed building is a block of flats. So lots of farm out buildings are getting upgraded!

Re: MSFS 2020 First Impressions

My understanding is that the sim is being update with each AIRAC cycle so I suspect where an airfield has an ICAO designation the current one is being used.
