Re: Another Eagle? Sure!

Oh... perhaps I should comment that this is not a classic British Aircraft - yet ;) but once it's been flying, it'll be a classic at the airshows. Anyway, Phil Vickery is a classic, no? And with his name "on the wing" so to speak, I allowed myself this slight "adaptation". Apolog...

Another Eagle? Sure!

It's been a while since I showed myself round here, but today I have the pleasure to reveal a new UK real-world repaint. The team behind the real-world version of this have put their paperwork in for the Permit to Fly and I have been given permission to "...do go ahead and release your wonderfu...

Re: Re-paint request, Westland Soiux for AAC and RAF

They're getting there... but I am afraid after many years working on them, these models are not Army Bell 47 G4s with turbochargers etc. I have hit the carbs with a hide face hammer often enough, drilled hundreds of split pin holes, gathered enough "Sioux Rash", greased enough tail rotor s...

Re: An open question

This discovery came as a surprise to me. Good old Martin Wright!

Look for 'mdlmat' - it may be ancient and of no use to some, but the idea is sound and may be worth pursuing for others. It's a tool to edit the shine and specularity of a model.

Re: markings on planes....

Sorry for the late reply in resurrecting this thread... Why not visit www.simmerspaintshop.com and look through their downloads sections - they have a great library of downloadable markings that are all great quality and large enough that you only need to downsize them. OK, so it's a pointer away fr...

Re: An open question

Well, it says something then... because I have more freeware addons for FS with an active spec and correctly formatted folders. As far as I understand it from someone I asked to activate it, allocating a spec takes very very little time. Is there any way we can activate "missing" FSX funct...

An open question

...aimed at no one in particular. Why are so called FSX developers calling their product 'True FSX models' when they don't add specular sheets to their paints. Especially, but not limited to payware devs? It's bad enough they don't use bump maps efficiently. It's not as if setting the specular trigg...

Re: SDK - Documentation - Accessing multiple pages concurrently

Useful! Thanks.

I hate on-screen bookware. I'd even print the whole SDK if it were properly page-formatted.
