A Question about turbulence

Aye aye all - much as I love commercial aircraft and commercial aviation, including my various FS9 adventures, about the only thing I don't like, is the real actual flying. Crazy I know, but I think I've read a bit too many of those air disaster books and watched too many of those Discovery/National...

B757 and Atlantic Crossing?

Driving past Schiphol today on my way to work, I noticed an NWA aircraft taxiing towards the terminal. What was odd (I think) was that I'm sure it was a 757. It got me wondering if there are variants of the 757 that can do routes between say, New York and Amsterdam? The other thing I noted was that ...

DM Flightsim's Comet - Simply Fabulous!

Aye aye all - I was scouting around the various payware sites for something new to fly. Not finding anything of interest (all glass cockpits and 900,000 page manuals) I remembered how much I love the BAC-1-11 over at DM FLight Sim. So I popped over to get the files and install when I noticed the Com...

Re: A new freeware kai Tak is here!!!

Downloaded and installed, but sadly I get a CTD when changing to daytime or dusk textures when either at or flying around the airport(s). Seems I'm the only one with this problem (I've tried google-ing), so this wont be staying long on the hard drive :-( Actually, what are you supposed to do with th...

This has probably been done to death, by *what* exactly happens to fs9.cfg to make such a difference?

Re: FPS drop when moving mouse ...

Hi Guys, problem solved, just reinstalled the various drivers and it's working again. Very odd though. I did try Ultimate Defrag (a 14day trial version) and it did a grand job defragging the hard drive. I love the various options it gives (like putting the files and directories you access most often...

FPS drop when moving mouse ...

This evening I've noticed a significant drop in fps in fs9 when moving the (wireless) mouse around the screen .. Default flight, a/c at inverness. before i'd be getting a steady 40fps. Since this evening, I notice that the fps fluctuates between 38-40fps, then when I move the mouse (for example to s...

Re: Across Africa in the DC3

Hoi Bas, sorry for the late reply, lost track of the thread.. VC throttles, prop pitch, mixture, carb heat, fuel tanks, trim wheel and cranks, tailwheel lock, pbrake, flaps, gear, cowl flaps, comm and magneto switches, etc and what not are all click- and workable as are most switches on the OH ( ca...
