FWIW for anyone out there, I found setting unlimited FPS and forcing Asynchronous SpaceWarp (ASW) off (I used the Oculus Tray Tool) worked wonders.

You can only use the built in voice recognition to trigger standard P3d commands, so controlling custom gauges would be a no go I think Just what I'd feared. did you have the original Rift and if you did do you think the it's worth upgrading to the S? If not - what's your impressions re resolution and also the Screen Door Effect?
