Is the PMDG Jetstream for FSX only or FS9 as well?
The Flight 1 Atr isnt bad and the Majestic Dash8 Q300 Taxi like a dream and the sounds for the dash8 are out of this world although the exterior sounds have not been modelled.
You get the same sounds both internally and externally,Is a bit expensive ...

Yes thats the theory behind it, unfortunately as has been previously stated FS doesnt model taxying turboprops very well.
You have to get the setting spot on or you will either rocket off or come to a stop.
Done some further testing with these values and doesnt seem to affect the flight model too ...

As I saw mentioned in a previous post taxi-ing the 748 is far to sensitive.
It is virtually impossible to taxi at a steady speed without keeping tapping the brakes.It just rockets off as soon as you increase the throttles.
I found a solution.Open the aircraft file and scroll down to the propeller ...

Ive found a solution for the starting problems.Copy the throttle quarant and overhead panel from the default 747 panel config[lines 3 and 4] to your viscount panel ,you need to copy the bit maps and guages to your viscount panel folder from the 747 folder as well.[the guages file is in the panel ...

It seems that any aircraft imported to FSX thar has a custom panel has trouble with starting the engines.I had the same problem with the 748 so I aliased it to the King air panel and it seems ok.Although no as reasistic.
Maybe could do the same with the viscount but havent got a 4 engine prop panel ...

Viscount in FSX

Does anyone have this problem when using the viscount in FSX in that you are unable to start the engines. I start the engines as per the instuctions and the same as in FS9 but they fail to fire up.You can hear the starter operate when you select the engine but when you open the HP cocks the start ...
