Re: Some statistics from 200 flights

Interesting Toby, I have recorded all my flights also. My first was in a Bristol Britannia G-ANCE from Stansted (old side terminal) to Aden. It was in June 1962. Interestingly as it was a trooping flight (my father was in the RAF) the seats faced rearwards! Since then I have flown a total of 246 fli...

Re: PrePr3d V4

Thanks for that Dave.

I had the same problem with the taxiway colour. I just lived with it, but it always annoyed me.

Will install the file. Thanks again.

Re: PrePr3d V4

Ted

My roads around the junction are also grey.
The roads are part of the Duxford scenery and change back to the photo scenery 'black' at the edges of it.

Re: PrePr3d V4

Ted I have all my scenery on a separate drive and manually use the scenery library in P3D v4 to point to it. I also have v3 using the same scenery. All VFR GenX work including treescapes. I have the Duxford scenery and Airshow working OK. I don't remember changing anything, but ensure you have the F...

Re: HU, Fairey Barracuda

DaveG wrote Rob Richardson has released his Fairey Barracuda for FSX (I assume it will work in P3d as well). Yes it does Dave, I have only tried it in version 4 and it handles very well. I like the quirkiness of it, air brakes. undercarriage etc. Well Done Rob another creation of yours to keep in th...

Re: 146 becoming a classic

I was able to talk my way into Hatfield to see the official roll out of the prototype in 1981. I also saw the first flight of the converted prototype to the 300 SRS. I have been fortunate to be able to fly in it 6 times, once landing into London City from Stockholm. Sad it's numbers are dwindling. J...

How sad to hear this. To me DaveB was CBFS and his input and comments will be missed.

RIP Dave.

Condolences to his family and many friends.

Re: Earth Simulations gone!?

Hi Ben, I have the same problem with Scilly Isles. I have been able to get the Isle of Man loaded from disk but not sure how I eventually got there. It is something to do with the ESI that expects to find the website. Maybe someone with a better understanding can offer some advice. At the moment I'm...
