Re: CL-44-O Guppy

What is clear in them is the APU exhaust on the leeft side of the tail [/b] Sorry guys afraid thats not an APU. It is the exhaust for the 60,000(IIRC) BTU Janitrol heater for the horizontal stabilizer de-icing. Sorry again for not dropping in very often but I don't get the time for FS these days bu...

Re: Europe scenery / mesh etc

I don't think there is a down load for FS Global. It comes in a box with 4 or 5 discs, can't remember the details as I am not at home at the moment. It takes quite a while to install as it covers the entire globe, i suppose thats why they call it FS Global. But I prefered it to the other meshes avai...

Re: Europe scenery / mesh etc

I use "FS Global" for mesh and I find it more than adequate, in fact over the Alps, the Pyrennes transalvainia etc it is quite stunning and I haven't noticed any real performance hits except it can be a little slow to load initally. On top off this I have Ultimate Terrain Europe and they d...

Re: So This is One Reason I Don't Often Go Payware

Actually you should be able to fly inverted in the Mk1 as long as you maintain +1G. The engine should only cut if you pull negative G (or should that be push?). Confusing aint it  I'm sure that our Aerobatic Expert, Peter will straighten me out if I'm wrong :flying: . Steve must get one of the...

Hi guys I'm back. Sorry for my long absence but real life and work caught up with me. I've been keeping an eye on the site when ever I could and I am pleased to see that the enthusiasism hasn't wained. Re: Converting to British Boost

Hi Paul, I forget the actual formula but 29.92 Hg =14.7 psi I believe. 29.92hg is the pressure for an ICAO standard day at sea level (1013.2 millibars or Hectapascals as we now have to call them) which is equivilent to 14.7 psi. I might be wrong but I am sure someone here will soon tell me if I am. ...

Re: Golden Age Simulations WACO F Series Package FS9/FSX

Hi peter
Nice plane, nice flying and nice video.
I should think the FAA would like to interview you on a number of subjects after that!

BTW that hill on the approach to 31 looks quite high, do you not require a displaced threshold there?

Love your work
Good luck CHEERS

Inside the "FSDS2 Vickers Vanguard" folder I had "model. 951", "model.952", "model.953" and "model.953c" folders. Inside all the folders except the "model.953c" folder there was a "FSDS2 Vickers Vanguard. mdl" file plus a "mo...
