Yes, I've got the fuel consumption down, I will reduce the height. See what happens on the next flight.

Did the EGJJ-EGMC training flight. Again used Ricks' power settings. Used 267kgs of fuel. Real weather and had 156-160KIAS. Gave me a 200-207kts ground speed. Flew at 9000' and climbed at 500' pm.

Flew the EGBB to EGJJ route more or less using Ricks' settings. Did not adjust the MP till later in the flight so not entirely accurate. Thankyou very much gentlemen. I will try both sets and see what comes out of it. I am doing the training flights at the moment so I presume it will cost the firm nothing. I will let you know what I get.

I know this is an old thread but are there any power setting figures for the Viking anywhere. I have seen the FSNav settings but cannot find the power settings.
