That is a beautiful restoration of an amazing bird. I am waiting patiently for the FSX one to come out and I can see me doing a repaint of that toot sweet!

I have flown that approach many, many times in FSX in all types of weather, day and night, in all sorts of aircraft and that guy was just plain wrong in so many ways! As Chris said, the only safe option there was a 'go around'.

Two things jump to my mind..... 1. Someone has a grudge (as Nigel suggested) perhaps because the chopper captured evidence that was used against them. 2. I don't have Gen X but I just took a quick look all around that area in Google Earth and saw nothing (well, apart from the usual fields of course ;-) ).
