Re: Aero Ae-45S

Leif are you sure about those dark circles you mentioned earlier? I just found this photo and it shows them to be more like louvres and located on the left side of each nacelle as they are in the current textures. http://www.abpic.co.uk/popup.php?q=1072267 I have looked at a lot of Aero photos onlin...

Re: Assistance required please

Have a look at this site James as it explains how to change a battery.... http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/81 Let's hope you have one of the circular batteries on your motherboard as they are by far the easiest to change. BTW, while you have the side off the case it would be a good idea to vac...

Re: Aero Ae-45S

Cheers Larry you can pick it up at "The Pond" and I have a feeling your correct -- they used handed textures - because it appears on the Left side of both cowls -- so the one on the left engine wouldn't be much use. Just grabbed it Leif and had a quick look at the textures and all four si...

Re: Aero Ae-45S

BTW I need a good painter to change some textures -- if you look there is a dark circle on the left side of both cowls -- well they are mirrors and need to be on inside only -- they were for checking the gear. That should be easy provided that the textures are not 'shared' where one side is copied ...

Re: Let's talk Scanners

I think it's a bit of 'swings and roundabouts' Dave to be honest. Both sides of the pond tend to have freqs that you are not supposed to listen to and therefore equipment is supplied as disabled on those bands (but usually a quick search on the net and a few button presses in the correct sequence ca...

Re: Let's talk Scanners

It looks very impressive but as I am a Radio Ham I have always had Ham radios that were able to work 'out of band' and do the same job as dedicated scanners (I even have air band on one of my handheld Ham radios). Uniden are a reputable (and long established) company and put out some very nice gear ...

Re: Wayward Tri-Motor

The Vickers Vimy is too much for me. I have often wondered if anyone has actually completed those FS flights for them. I was part of the Sim Outhouse Round the World Race team this year and one of the legs had the Vimy as one of the required aircraft in order to gain bonus points. I learned from th...
