Re: Drumming audition

Sorry to hear that Mike. Hope he keeps playing after this minor setback. I never took music in school or college but still got to play in four bands!

Re: Drumming audition

Nice! He even got a nod of approval from my wife who is a former drummer and played in a Scottish pipe band when she was in High School. She played drums and her next older sister played the pipes (yes, she was a cat strangler!)

Re: Sing-along Sunday

Good old Kate Bush.
I'm not sure she'd like a car driven into her like the Aussie Bush you refer to!

Re: Sing-along Sunday

In the original song where the lyrics go "Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high" I can't help thinking it's "Somewhere over the rainbow, weigh a pie!" and I invariably answer with "One pound, four ounces!" :agree:

Re: Is JustFlight BAE146s for FSX Really Good?

I have both the JF and QW 146s for FSX and just last week bought the QW 146 for P3D v4.5 so you can probably tell which one I prefer. As to the HS.748 I had/have Rick's in FS2004, FSX and tried it in P3D v4.5 but when the JF one went on sale I bought it because I wanted the newer VC (sorry Rick) as ...

Re: Sing-along Sunday

I hadn't heard of her before so I had to Goggle her to find a video. She's got some talent for sure! She reminds me a lot of the Canadian females who stirred up the world in the 90's and 2000's. People like Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Nelly Furtado, etc.

Re: DG's Mossie ported to MSFS

As permission wasn't sought I would be saying take it down immediately. I once had a request to host all my LDR projects on a then new download site. I declined as I wanted to keep all my releases in one place (the SOH file library) as it was easier for me to manage any support questions. That site ...

Re: Sing-along Sunday

Hi Larry, An interesting fact, to my mind, is that the singer never mentions "what's up" even once in the song. Very true, the closest she gets is "What's going on!" In a similar vein there is no mention of a black dog anywhere in Led Zeppelin's famous tune "Black Dog". The dog in fact was one from ...

Re: Sing-along Sunday

 I'm not going to get those lyrics out of my head the next time I play that song on my guitar now!  BTW our cattle dog was bit on the bum by a stable fly as a puppy and now whenever any fly gets close to her bum she spins around in circles while snapping like a crazy alligator!

Re: I'm not the only one

I am very familiar with this couple as they do a lot of anti-Trump parodies that are hilarious and so close to the truth it's unreal.

Just another week and hopefully DonOld Dump will be history!
