Hi Dale - Just go for it, you have my approval to do what you like with the MSFS version, especially if there's a lack of models out there.
I don't have MSFS at the moment, may be a while before I get a new PC for it.
Cheers,
Paul

Re: Resurrection - back from the dead
Dale - looks even better now :), it looks so smooth in the new sim. If you feel it's good enough then do please share it around. Pete - hang on to them, I've still got a bit more to update on the model, including the with or without headrest models. However, I'm still getting to grips with FSX itsel...

Re: Resurrection - back from the dead
That's pretty cool Dale thanks
I'll have to save up to replace my 8 years old PC!
I probably made the gauges to work in FS9 and FSX so perhaps they're not forward compatible.
Got my Luton flying this morning in FSX, not as easy to fly as the Swallow, back to learning how it all works.

Re: Resurrection - back from the dead
Cheers for that Pete - Always encouraging for designers to hear their models are still being used :) Since my FS2004/FSX work up to 2011 I have actually made hundreds of Aircraft models - just not for flight simulators, these are printed by Shapeways It's helped to improve my building techniques - p...

Re: Resurrection - back from the dead
Thanks Mike - Unfortunately the twin pobjoy is probably not that useful, would be difficult to separate out the sound of one.
Hello again everyone
Apart from the Luton, I was also thinking of a Tipsy B - dangerous to ask but any other classic british GA people would like to see?

Resurrection - back from the dead
Hi All, Time for my foray back into flight sims - happens every few years when I find some spare time (despite my day job being related to virus testing!) I generally just lurk here and watch Peter's videos :) Got FSX installed and running on a PC a few years old, so not really up to speed for the l...

Re: Looking for copy of BA Swallow
Cheers Keith - got it now.
I have all the luton minor files, just never quite finished it
All good here, just been busy making models scale models to "print" on shapeways...
https://www.shapeways.com/shops/decapod
A few small classic brits in there.

Re: Looking for copy of BA Swallow
If anyone has copies of any of those BA Swallow files, you have my blessing to upload them to any FS library.
I've lost the FS9 package files but still have the original sources somewhere.
Still got the FSX files somewhere but haven't "flown" for a few years now
Cheers,
Paul
