I saw a used one on ebay and I'm fed up with having issues with a cyborg! I haven't been able to use FSX for months now!

Well I just bought an X55 on fleabay.........I hope it works! I'll find out when I get it back to Qatar late-July!

Just got my friends joystick..........my one has gone in the bin! What are the chances of having exactly the same hardware issue with 2 joysticks?! Quite high it would seem!!! I'm now on the lookout for a new joystick when I'm back in the UK in a few weeks. Thanks all for your help and advice, alway...

Hopefully, now I've found someone with a joystick, I can rule out it being a software problem! Just thought it was unlikely to have been the same hardware problem twice, but then it is an identical one so I suppose if it's a common fault it may not be that unlikely!

Alas the inverted abuse has not solved it! No multimeter either. :doh: I've managed to find a friend here who is a 'closet-simmer' so I will hopefully try his joystick tomorrow and find out if it's a hardware or software issue. Fingers crossed its a simple solution! It's getting me very frustrated!!...

Hadn't thought of deleting the .cfg......will try that in a while.

Got FSUIPC....followed the frooglesim guide.........same problem! Random full right rudder!

Do I reinstall FSX.......which will be a slow and painful process.......or gamble with getting another new joystick!?!?

Ah.....I have the free version! Off to get the payware version to try........
