Re: Gmax Short Mayo Composite S.21 Flying Boat and S.20 Seaplane
It sounds as though your reputation is based on being overly obsessed with minutia. Let’s remember that Flight Simulator is a ‘game’ enjoyed by tens of thousands of people. The fact that the administrators of this forum have allowed the above comment to be displayed for a day now would appear to ind...

Re: Gmax Short Mayo Composite S.21 Flying Boat and S.20 Seaplane
Must admit I didn't check to see if G-EDEN had already been allocated. Of course neither of these machines still exist: the S.20 was 're-cycled' and the S.21 was written-off following bombing at Poole harbour (I think).

Re: Lysander
That's a pretty neat looking cockpit. Nice work by the modeller.

I used the original reg at the start of the movie. For the current day I used G-ISLA and G-EDEN and named the aircraft FIFE and ANGUS.

Re: FAA Museum Supermarine Attacker.
Nice photos. Shame you couldn't get into the cockpit, but I can make out the EGT, tachometer, and fuel quantity gauges. What's the instrument that appears to have found a new home on top of the right glareshield? I don't think it's the altimeter as the numbers aren't in the correct position.

Gmax Short Mayo Composite S.21 Flying Boat and S.20 Seaplane
This has been in the pipeline since last year and hopefully it will be out in time for the 70th Anniversary this autumn. Here's a movie of the work so far: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4yxEENwek6w&feature=user http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y276/Reibekuchen/MayoPair.jpg http://i7.photobucket....

Re: Avro Tudor Add-On Released.
Well done to all the players who got airborne and realized that the ailerons were incorrectly rigged, and were still able to fly the aircraft back to the runway. You’re all too clever for me, although I like to think that the G-FOOL registration and the upside-down Union Flag were a bit of a give aw...

Avro Tudor Add-On Released.
Fasten your seat belts! Here's our latest release, the 1940's Avro Tudor airliner. You can download the Zip File here: http://www.dpsflight.com/ (It's the first link under all the little flags) And here's a video tutorial on how to fly her: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7SYDaBD0mA8&feature=user ...

Re: FAA Museum Supermarine Attacker.
Yes, they are slow with their emails. No reply yet; guess they are probably busy over the Easter hols. Though I thought my offer to pay for their F4U restoration would have got a response ;) New Attacker book? Do you have the ISBN, etc? I've got a copy of the Richard A Franks book, but no cockpit im...
