Re: Royal Navy warships?
Hi clarke123 and welcome to CBFS ;) Not quite sure why our friends at SOH directed you here but better here than nowhere  That would be down to me Dave - knowing certain people here were of a nautical bent it seemed sensible - and I think the answers proved that to be a correct assumption. JKA...

Re: Canberra From FlyingStations...!
No one else got this.....? Be interested in others opinions folks...? Tony Only have the initial freeware pack thus far, and I have been more than pleased with that. Re: Superb Freeware Entandard!!!!
Good grief! Not one comment here on possibly the best freeware release of the year, possibly an anti-French feeling    Don't forget that some of us are luddites and aren't making the move to FS X. If it had been an FS2004 release I'd likely be making plenty of comments - as it is, meh!

Re: Ark Royal and Harriers to be Scrapped
The F-35C was being mentioned on Radio 4 this morning, I think that is the route they are going - cats & traps has other advantages, means they can add Hawkeyes to the mix, instead of a costly custom AWACS solution. But Typhoon IS an option; my understanding is they are sufficiently over-enginee...

Re: Nimrod MR4 - R.I.P
So do we no longer need a maritime recce platform - I thought Nimrod was going to be the all singing, all dancing multi-role platfom for the future?

Re: Premaircraft BAe 146
Ooh, that BAe demonstrator scheme looks nice!
Hope somebody picks uo the Dan Air scheme - although it never seemed proper, Dan Dare opertaing a modern type instead of some 5th hand clapped out rust bucket.

Re: Just a quick one.
The luxury BA 001/002 that rplaces the Concorde service.....G-BUNA/B 38 seats in an A318, at least they will have plenty of legroom. Might not be as quick as Concorde, but departing from LCY will certainly work better for business travellers I imagine. Hmm, have to see if there are any repaints ava...
