Re: HB to Trev Clark ?today

Just popped in to say thanks for the kind birthday messages! As some of you might know, I'm now the Curator at... www.tangmere-museum.org.uk ...and that keeps me very busy! I still get an occasional sim fix on our Lighting sim, run by PeteP of this forum. I still point some museum punters i...

Re: FS2004 scenery guru required for small job!

Thanks for the offers of help, looks like the 'urgency' factor has now gone, but it's something I'd like to have long term at the museum. Yes, our Phantom is now respendant in the fetching anniversary blue colour sceme she wore for a while in service. Work is now fully in hand to refit both cockpits...

FS2004 scenery guru required for small job!

Hi guys, I'm not here much now as I've not had a SIM PC for six years and my life has changed course in many ways, but I'm back to ask a favour! In 2005, a bunch of us here put in the first simulators in the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum, which are still actually in use! 13 years later, as part ...

Re: Sad News

I was hoping somebody had a copy of that photo from Coventry, I have it somewhere on an old backup HD but can't easily lay my hands on it. My little avatar photo is (I think) from that day too, I remember it being captioned as me attempting to steal the Prentice. Pretty sure Ben was in the back! See...

Re: Sad News

Sorry, can't make it as I'm picking up our new campervan that morning, which we're taking to Scotland the very next day for a long planned holiday, hoped it was any other day around that date, as I might have been able to juggle timings. If things change at this end, I'll post here.

Just saw this rather lovely tribute to Dave at SHO by a poster called Ganter, thought I'd share it here, I think Dave would have liked it.

Re: Sad News

I've been in a state of utter shock since hearing of this terrible news last night. I was going to reply to a question he asked about our old military pensions, it when I saw Ben had just posted on the Admin section, about his passing. It seems the MOD will have saved some money after yesterday, som...

Re: Happy Birthday Trev Clark(59) 15.2.17

Thanks guys, yes just one year away from the big 60 now, how the he'll did that happen! Everything in my life is good (except my part time job that requires a 3am alarm four days a week) but hopefully that will change. Now living just north of Portsmouth and still working at Tangmere to get my fligh...

Question...AAR and carrier landings using P3D?

Hi guys, as many of you know, my only sim activity nowadays is instructing on the Tangmere Museum Lightning simulator, so I'm not up to speed on anything with the current version of the sim. Our Curator would like to take one of our slightly older Sims, currently running Dave's Hunter in FS2004 (whi...
