Re: Vertigo Grumman Avenger in P3D - info and opinions, plea
To go with the Avenger I'm making a little HMS Formidable remembrance pack with both new textures for the Flying Stations Victorious to make it look like Formidable as it looked during the later BPF ops and textures for the AF Corsair as "133" of 1841 NAS. Just one Norwegian pilot took par...

Re: Vertigo Grumman Avenger in P3D - info and opinions, plea
Thanks Dave! I also really like the BPF scheme on the Avenger. Both the USN and British use of the Avenger from the small escort carriers on convoy escort duty are really fascinating, it must have been scary as hell to fly of the small ships in the heavy sea state the north Atlantic brings on. I hav...

Re: Vertigo Grumman Avenger in P3D - info and opinions, plea
Paul, Thanks for taking a look at it. It is exactly the same issues I have been having. As a last resort I swapped out all engine related section in the cfg file with entries from the VS Hellcat and making the effect values resemble the TBM and then the engine issue disappears. So it must be some en...

Re: Vertigo Grumman Avenger in P3D - info and opinions, plea
It is sort of a mystery, the engine dies without any abnormal reading in the gauges.. I have changes air file with no change. Can it be some coding which are not compatible with P3D? That is also strange as it sounds like several on this forum is using P3D with this model. A shame as I have several ...

Re: Vertigo Grumman Avenger in P3D - info and opinions, plea
Are you guys running the avenger in P3D V3? I'm having a problem with the engine in P3D. I follow the checklist and take off, but after about 10 seconds in the air I suddenly loose power and there are no way of getting the engine back to life. Something in the engine management I have forgotten or a...

Thanks!
I got the confirmation that it was approved for the soh library, so I think it should be available.

I have done a repaint pack for the FCS Lancaster. The FCS products have got a lot of critics, but I were very pleasantly surprised over the FCS Lancaster. It is a nice model indeed. -B.I "KM-B" No 44 Sqn RAF, 1942. Flown by Sqn Leader John Nettleton on the famous Augsburg raid. Only surviv...

Re: Norwegian Spitfire IX mega pack
As you say, the Germans were very brutal during their withdrawal from northern Norway. Most towns were completely burnt down and all infrastructure demolished. I have never sailed with the "Hurtigruten" myself, but they say it gives you a very dramatic view on the Norwegian coastal region....
