The Langham Dome

Hi all, The Mrs and I are in Norfolk on holiday at the moment on holiday. One of the places we've visited is a cracking bit of history called the Langham Dome. Its a restored RAF Anti-aircraft Gunnery trainer that was sited at RAF Langham and one of only a very few that have survived since the 2nd w...

Re: Scotland's independence; any thoughts, chaps ?

I haven't lived in Scotland for a few years now. I'm surprised at how few of our Scottish members have commented. My worry is that this issue will now further divide Scotland East and West (largely). I really think very little good has come from this whole process. To be honest Ben some of us have ...

Re: Scotland's independence; any thoughts, chaps ?

I just remembered I have photos of whats possibly the Scottish Air Force's only aircraft :agree: Its G-AXIG & she's in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh though, might take a bit of effort to get her outside in an emergency  https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5595/15281005715_3c858639...

Personally, from up over this side of the border I'm keeping out of any public discussion, but what I can say is no matter what happens tomorrow morning,

Re: Administrators re: view counters please.

This is weird, the 504K thread has now reached over 16,000 views :worried: . There's obviously something untoward in it that's getting picked up by search engines and causing interest out in the Interweb. I had a trawl through it & the only thing I could suspect might be the word " Fokkers ...

Re: Aircraft Factory Avro 504K

Views out the front never seem to be good on old WW1 kites. I always thought Robert Bruce had the right idea though with his FSX version of the F2B Bristol Fighter, he did extra views leaning out the side of the cockpit to assist in locating a suitable place to crash / land again :agree:
