Re: M.2 or SSD?

If you install MSFS 2020 on your system drive you can use MSFS Add-ons linker which is freeware available on flightsim.to This allows you to move add on aircraft and acenery to any drive you like and adds them to MSFS automatically using a dynamic link. This will ensure you don't over fill the syste...

Re: MSFS Aircraft list

Despite having had MSFS for some time I rarely use it as I mainly fly X-Plane 11. However the Hunter may pessuade me to flash it up more often. Installed it yesterday and had a play. Thanks Dave for a superb add-on with an excellent choice of Marks and liveries :)

Re: Going MS2020

I was going to wait until X-Plane 12 came out but in all honestly I don't want to fly in a country that is represented by Autogen Scenery I wish you all the best with 2020 and hope it brings you a good experience. Sadly the whole of the UK isn't represented by photogrammetry and in most areas autog...

Re: MSFS 2020 First Impressions

Likewise updated this evening and had a flight over Newcastle. Flew in from Gosforth past the Town Moor and Civic Centre, past the city hall and down to Central Station before a run down the Tyne. It looks good but even with crash disbled there is something hard over the city which knocks the plane ...

Re: Best PC companies, please

I've used Intel i7 and Nvidia Graphics for the last 3 builds and have been very pleased with performance and stability. Currently using an i7 11700k overclocked to 4.9 GHZ and my trusty Nvidia 1080 GPU which is still going strong. All drives are now SSD with the system and MSFS on an M2 1TB drive an...

Re: Best PC companies, please

Hi Paul
I'd also reccomend Scan. I usually upgrade using their overclocked bundles and have always found them very compatitive and first rate for service and support.

Re: Speed Distance Time Calculator

Most GPS will give a course to steer to reach a waypoint to compensate for wind drift but for manual navigat6ion the only way to do it is either using a flight computer with the rotating scale as supplied by the likes of Pooleys or good old fashioned dead reckoning navigation on a chart with a penci...

Re: MSFS VR

Hi Rob
I believe all of the current generation headsets will work in 2020.
The headset comes with its own drivers and software and most simulators such as P3D MSFS 2020 X-Plane and DCS have their own built in interface which works with VR whan activated in sim.
