I would imagine one option after failing OCU as a fast jet jock would be the multi engine or rotary wing courses ? Surely by the time a pilot reaches OCU he's had too much money invested in him to be chopped entirely ? The programme you refer to I think was called 'Fighter Pilot' and was first broad...

This is an event I've always considered but never managed to attend. If I'm not working I may well go as I've not been to Newark for a fair few years.

Nice story! I love snakes so wouldn't be a problem for me Likewise, I kept and bred reptiles for years so it's one thing I ont have a problem with. When I worked for a handling agent we found a stow away lizard in the hold of a flight from the Canaries, I adopted him and 'Ozzy' led a happy life in ...

I appreciate GA to, in fact I fly GA 90% of the time. One of the Brit Cherokees was the first light aircraft I ever flew in as a kid.

There's quite a selection of PA28s out there for FS now too :)

Dyl,

Have you got this covered yet ? If not I may have some (slightly off centre) photos you could use. It might take me some time to get them scanned though. I also have some home movie footage (mostly in cockpit) I'd be prepared to share.

Let me know if I can help.

I've done a bit of work on the Firefly Trainer this afternoon. Looking good - I started work on a T67 in FSDS a long time ago - the first of several unfinished projects I'm afraid. I've been lucky enough to have flown in the B and M II versions of the Firefly - a briliant (british) aircraft and a l...

Looks like another lovely model of the Electra, although a version based on the FS-KBT Orion would be even better ! I approached the FS-KBT people via a contact in another forum and the reply I got implied that it would have been too complicated a conversion. It's a shame because I have access to a ...
