Re: Aero Expo Friedrichshafen 2019

Good god! That first picture is now a CBF relic... shocking for the younger ones amongst us yet to (quite) reach middle age!

Re: Just Flights' VC10 Professional.

Brilliant, thanks for the HU. I remember my father took me to the Hucknall Airshow sometime during the early sixties and the VC10 did a display, I well remember the pilot actually spoke to the crowd as he was flying it and do remember that he said that he would not apply full power as it would deaf...

Re: Just Flights' VC10 Professional.

Just had a look for the manual and npwood had written: The link for the manual takes you to the old VC10 Standard manual released last year, not to the new VC10 Professional's manual. So guess will have to wait for the new one to come out. Regards Nigel. That would explain the lack of AAR panel. :l...

Re: Just Flights' VC10 Professional.

It's a VC10, so it'll be lovely. ;) :)

The Bruntingthorpe jet was used for reference for both projects, but I've really been too busy to get too involved in this one from a testing point of view. I'm sure any gremlins will be ironed out in due course though. :)

Re: RIP Kris Ward

It seems he actually died last month (November), following some googling. Not sure why this is appearing in the Telegraph as if happened [very] recently. Perhaps took them a while to put together an obituary? Either way, I hadn't seen this before and both he and his father made valuable contributio...

Re: GLOSTER GLADIATORS BETA

Thanks for pointing that out Charlie. :$ That's what you get by following 3-view plans too closely and not checking real-life stuff enough. Cheers  Dave M(oly) No worries - I only aim to help you produce as accurate representation as possible (as I say, I can’t do it myself so can only offe...

Re: GLOSTER GLADIATORS BETA

My modelling skills (in any sense) are zero and I'm not much help with anything else, but I do like Gloster Gladiators, so I'll offer my only bit of worthwhile constructive criticism... :) I think the front of the cowl - the collector ring - is a little too "open", leaving too much of a ga...

What happened to all the VC10 autopilot controllers? I see '149 has a paper one!
