Re: FSX Scenery Problem
Thanks DG, exactly what I'm getting. Dan, Your correct, but even moving the exclusion tag to the correct place in the xml changes nowt. ADE is great, but doesn't do jetways unless they are already there (At least I can see anyway of adding them) More worrying, if I use the first AFD witho...

Re: google earth-airfields
I doubt its being used as a bombing target with a golf course now taking up much of the airfield. :o Interesting though. Could be various excivations to check out the makeup of the runway for demolition? I thought I spotted a couple of JP's as well. Here it is on local.live.com http://maps.l...

FSX Scenery Problem
Hi Guys, This is only for folk with FSX. have made two different BGL files for the default Aldergrove to test if the problem I am having is FSX SP2 related or FSX Planner. If you could load each AFD file in turn, the normal one first (This should have two jetways at the easterly end of the terminal....

Re: Nvidia 8600GT 512Mb ????
No Tony! (Your going in circles matey  ) DX9 and DX10 don't conflict they are different and your on XP so forget about DX10. DX is an opperating system component. DX9 with WinXP DX10 with Vista. DX10 will run DX10 or earlier, so if someone has Vista, all of there old DX stuff still works, if yo...

Re: Nvidia 8600GT 512Mb ????
DX10 is ONLY Vista and ONLY on certain cards. (Not that it matters as there is bugger all using DX10 exclusivly)
FS9 is not DX10, but it doesn't matter as DX10 and DX9 are separate versions anyway, soeven though I've Vista all the DX9 stuff still works fine.
Is that what your after Tony?

Re: More FSX Criticism, This Time From Developers
Its all about the Dev platform Guys, and without a proper consistant Dev platform as I have suggested, even a brand new sim will be a comercial failure. It must use widely known and understood techniques and would be superb if it had an API, but if the development platform changes each time, rather ...
