Re: How to be cruel to old blokes.........

I definitely use the male method...sometimes accompanied by a few choice words if I forget to unbutton the shirt. :$

Re: Your First Flight?

Ahh, it looks like this thread has taken a twist. :) Ok, time for an additional question - How many of you 'first flight' fellows have ever jumped out of an aircraft in flight? What aircraft type was it? Was it a military jump or a civilian jump? To get things started, my first (and only) jump was f...

Re: Big un....!

For me the A380 looks like she was designed with an even larger version in mind. Her wings look (to me anyway) too large for her fuselage. Maybe Airbus could insert a 20 ft 'plug' forward of the wing, and a 10 ft 'plug' behind the wing. That would make room for a few more seats or maybe even...

Neat! :) I wouldn't mind bumping into Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) on any street. ;-)

Re: Your First Flight?

I was so excited/nervous that I refused the free onboard meal once airborne. I couldn't stay focused long enough to even think about food! I'll never forget the excitement I felt during that initial rush of acceleration on takeoff... On my first commercial flight (a DC-9 out of Dallas) I accepted t...

Re: Viscount problems

That...is...bizarre. :o I tried to replicate what you're seeing Gary but, like Dave, I have failed. :-( FS2004's default AI aircraft are what I'm using. No matter what I tried the AI birds just sat there quietly. Oh, thanks for posting the screenies, Gary. :)

Great answer! Well put, Nigel. Hey Gary - could you possibly post a screenie of the Viscount being saluted by the AI aircraft? I'd love to see it. :)

Your First Flight?

This should be an interesting thread...I hope. :worried: Do you remember your first flight? The aircraft type? Specific things about the flight which you remember to this day? To get things started...my first flight was in a single engined Cessna - I couldn't tell you the type. I distinctly remember...
