Re: Happy Birthday Court Line Flyer (55)

Hi Karl, here are a couple of snaps of the Court Line BAC 111 500 that I flew in to Palma way back in 1971, I think the registration was G-AXMK. It was a bargain out of season short break that Clarkson's did of 5 days (4 nights) full board all inclusive for £18. In those days, it was poss...

Re: Happy Birthday Court Line Flyer (55)

Happy Birthday Karl...I actually flew on one of those BAC 111's of Court Line way back in the early 70's. Got some photo somewhere, aircraft was all pink and called 'Halcyon Days' ;).

Re: Prop control problem

Thanks Adrian...a bit mystified as to why this manifested itself after all this time but once I dissociated the prop control from the joystick setting...the problem was resolved. Daft thing is that I never associated it in the first place but my X52 Pro decided yesterday to throw a hissy fit so it w...

Re: Prop control problem

Another forum member advised me to look deeper on settings. Eventually I double checked my joystick (Saitek X52 Pro) and saw that (Propeller Axis) was set as (Joystick R axis X) something that has always been there apparently by Saitek's decision and I was unaware. Clearly never a problem until toda...

In this video example of the DC-3, on take off the levers fall back and the RPM drops after a few seconds making take off impossible. I notice there is a friction control lev...
