The numbers I provided for Merchantman cargo capacity were max cargo load for the 953c pure freighter, if that helps? :dunno:

I'm still struggling to find the dry operating weight for the Vanguard, which is annoying as it's all we need to get it on FlyNet and flying!

Would this figure be listed under a different name in the tech spec I've been looking at? :dunno:

Looking foward to this...apart from Ubi's 'Pacific Fighters', it's rare to see Japanese planes in a sim. I'm sure this will be an excellent addition to the hangar!

Did you have the texture packs? They are sepaerate and have to be unzipped into the main folder before anything will work.

The base packs and a ton of addons are also on AVSIM, in the 'Orbiter' file library section

I don't think so..although I've got the Gemini you mention and it is awesome

Jim's stuff is the likes of Vanguard, Explorer and Surveyor, the very early attempts (late 50's-very early 60s) to get satellites into orbit or onto the Moon.

No, Ive got quite an old build with the lower-res textures, and it's still amazing! I think the bulids coming out for the last year or so are pretty much the same though, the changes are maninly minor and more or less 'invisible'

Yeah, any tranatlantic route seems to involve a ruddy great circle round Alaska!  I always manually re-route the plan, it's almost certainly inaacurate, but seems to match the timetable times for pond-hopping!
