I'm personally surprised that no-one has bought up Memphis Belle yet, an excellent film by any standards, and plenty of good B-17 footage to boot. Tora Tora Tora is pretty good too.

Very Classic British Flightsim!!! ;)

Hi chaps, Just a few screens of one of the oldest British aircraft in FS9 (that I know of, anyway). This is Jens Kristensen's excellent Handley-Page W8b en route from London to Paris. The weather was a bit naff for VFR, but I managed to make Le Bourget without too much trouble  http://img.pho...

I've had a play with it, still havent grasped it fully though. I think I can take the actual ' shot', I'm just not sure what to do with the info I get  Might strap it into the Lancastrian later on and have another go..mind you, I might end up doing what you did, and just muck about with a great...

Panel Problem

Hi chaps, I've got a good one here and I wondered if one of the tech gurus could help.... I've downloaded and installed HJG's DC-8-50, along with panel and sound, and set them all up accordingly. However, when I load the aircraft, the panel I see is from DM's 1-11-400 :dunno: My default flight invol...

I must agree with Chris, no-one is getting 'ripped off'. There is no indication that orders will be cancelled, or that the aircraft ordered will be completed to any specification other than the one issued by the MoD. The only reason we are getting the 'end of the line' is beacause the Government hav...

Must have missed those... I will have a look in the archive now for them  I thought the site would probably be of interest to a few folks on here as BOAC were a mainstay of our period.

I've been assembling some flights for JBK's Argonaut, and I found the site while googling for a bit more info on the type. Theres nothing on there about Argo's (as far as I can tell), but it has inspired me to try the Comet 4 out again...

Brilliant Website

Sorry if this has cropped up before, but I have just stumbled across a fantastic website going by the name of 'Better On A Camel', which containes the memories of many funny, bizarre and downright scary experiences of BOAC, BEA and even BA personnel. Its well worth a look, and can be found at http:/...
