Re: Login hassles

Cheers, Mike. I was one of many who named the Drover, and my PM to you seemed to go OK. When I tried to check my sent messages, it wasn't there. It did let me create a new post, but not a reply. Don't know what this'un will do *-)

Login hassles

Hello Ben - Everywhere I move I am being told I have to login, despite being already logged in and recognised. I can't read my PMs, or even post a new topic apparently. Probably collateral damage from the previous login hack. I'm not upset, just letting you know.

Bad times in Victoria

Things are getting very wild and woolly down there in VIC I hope Mike (airspeed) is OK. Ballarat is seriously threatened. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-02-13/victoria-fire-danger-catastrophic-fire-rating/103456334 Strange that we didn't see HT powerlines collapsing like this until privatisation :...

Re: The Universe

I was wondering why this and earlier years have been disappearing so quickly. I used to blame the calendar manufacturers, for cutting costs by using smaller numbers, and hence making Christmases much closer together, but this new research might provide an explanation. Here's hoping :agree:

Re: Inverting Mouse

Cheers, Nigel - I hadn't thought of that. Just from curiousity, I rotated my USB mouse 180 degrees, and got the effect you want by holding it between my forefinger and ring finger, and operating the buttons with my thumb. Felt a bit strange but it is viable. A wireless mouse might work better. BTW, ...

Re: New RTX out soon

Nothing changes, does it? I posted this in the sorely missed Visual Flight Forum, back in September 2005. If you have a login there, look for a thread titled 'Reflective Water'. "I was just looking at the one of the latest graphics cards. If you read the marketing hype it is really a wonderful ...

Re: Airspeed - Mike Johnson

Pete, thanks for the heads up. There are a few weird bugs going around at the moment, even up here in Qld. You never know what has come down with a flood. My very best wishes for a speedy recovery, to Mr and Mrs Airspeed.
