Re: Abort Procedure???

Lift dump was probably inhibited by throttles at go around power, every aeroplane I've worked on needs 3 logic gates for lift dump.. 1) throttle position 2) system master armed, 3) weight on wheels for at least 3 seconds...and gear wouldn't have been retracted until go around checklist called it Ttf...

Re: CBFS SPOTTER

Joe, I don't think it was ever going to be fully assembled at Woolston, the factory didn't have the space, most likely would have been taken by road to the flightshed at Eastleigh for final assembly. Unfortunately my late Uncle that was doing his apprenticeship at Supermarine when it was bombed neve...

Most definitely incomplete after the luftwaffe had bombed it ( it was in the factory at Woolston )

Re: Carenado S360 / S330 ILS / AP

Cheers Andy, It’s a nightmare to slow down, and get on the deck. But it’s very pretty! 😁 I think the issue is to to with the Garmin unit. The real aircraft didn’t have this and was a retro fit in later years. It seems you can’t use the radios to set Nav 1 and Nav2 unless you do it in the Garmin. An...

Re: SA Bulldog for MSFS

Wasn't that lucky myself , always fancied a go in a Bulldog, but the opportunity never arose, I got airborne hands on with more er, complicated equipment of her majesty's, namely Jetstream T2, and a little more recent in life..J31, J41, Shorts 330, 360, Fokker 27, to name but a few of my type rating...

Re: CBFS SPOTTER

I read last night that the R.S.3 /4 is being restored to flying condition. It's remarkable that it has survived. :) It was flying from Spanhoe until 2018, then in December last year its owners ( Leicester Council ) proposed it go to Newark Air Museum for posterity, as " it no longer has a C of...
