Nope but some would be good. :) Going to do some more work on the piping today if I can work out how to do it :(

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

As far as I'm now concered, this is uncancelled. Mainly cause I got bored and have just spent 3 hours on the engine, cockpit and trying to create cruved piping. Doesn't look like much but a fair bit was spent studing photographs and experimenting with what gmax can do. http://i642.photobucket.com/al...

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

I agree about the Whilwind, that French guy did an HAR10 for FS2002, but it would be nice to have one with a VC, and a Belvedere...oh no! I could go on for ever. Perhaps the Gaffer at UKMil will still want to look at this, just changing the pilot would help! Tbh,if DC is still up to it as a joint p...

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

The doors on the Sioux could be removed, if required. As far as being a full bona-fide CBFS project, I think it can be said that the gurus here would probably prefer to start from scratch and a converted Agusta Bell 47 would not top their list.....a Westland Westminster though, now we are talking s...

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

Hi folks, sorry to butt in.. Spent this afternoon at the heli museum, W-S-M..........I've looked through the posts and, unless I've missed it, no-one has mentioned that the canopy on the Westland Sioux is a different shape to that of the original Augusta-Bell...just my tuppence worth. Got some pics...

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

Hi Jon I think you misunderstood Calypsos original idea which was as a CBFS project and that means well researched and as near 100 percent accurate as possible... You can't be thinking a quick job as an answer to that :dunno: That's why I queried it  .............we don't do part jobs here :) ...

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

Hmm, my thoughts were that it would be better to have a slightly modified (via the free source code) version of this model (as it is free and up for modification) than just a simple re-paint of the basic US 1950's model that was released. If we want to go for 'full accuracy and detail', we may inde...

I covered that under 'panel' and 'Nessiary (Spelling) VC Mods'. Should have made it clearer :-(

Sorry

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

Ok, I've been thinking this over and from what I've seen, here's what needs doing based on photos and what people are telling me on here. Question marks mean I'm not to sure on it. Boxs either side of the tail to the rear of the cockpit T Aerials on the tail about mid way down Light inbetween the T ...

Re: Gmax Guru required!!!!!!

At Simouthouse there is mention of a v3! I said I'd only had a quick look. I'm having a detailed one now and then I'll think about how to go about it. EDIT: It only says 'if I do a V3' which doesn't mean it'll happen. By the way, I have found some very nice shots of the beast over on UKAR. Which in...
