Re: Floating Boats

Where to start? I've had a love of aviation since I was a very small child. From that, grew an interest in aviation photography. Re: CBFS SPOTTER

I get a two seat Spitfire over my house almost daily. I really don't like them. I can understand why owners have them converted (and there seem to be more and more of them), as they can charge to take people on 'experience' flights.

Re: Fuel crisis

Currently supermarket petrol in the North East is about £1.34 per litre. That's the stuff I usually use. It has an E10 rating and and Octane rating of 95. However as noted earlier, I've discovered that the Shell V Power gives me a much greater range, and is much more efficient. It has an octane rati...

Re: They're Doing What??

Kevin, I used to think the same, but on my return to the UK in 2019 I bought an 06 Mercedes A class 140 with CVT. Marvellous....It seems to have two kick down positions, hit the 2nd & it drops the equivalent of at least two notches & RPM goes to about 5500 & it hits you in the back (well...

Re: They're Doing What??

Ben, am I correct in saying that GB will be replaced by UK plates on vehicles? If so I don’t really mind because after all we are a United Kingdom. Aren’t we? *-) EricT Eric, you are correct. It's also more accurate. 'GB' refers to Great Britain, which is the largest island of the British Isles, co...

Ah, you need the 'diesel jellyfish'!
There are also '2-Stroke Squid' available and of course 'Electric Eels' for these new fangled battery powered vehicles.
