Classic British Flight Sim

Autopilot seems to work OK for me. One thing I did discover - the DME has its own frequency tuner, not the same as the VOR. Took me a while to spot that!

For anyone with happy memories of trips between Norwich and Amsterdam, the Fokker F27-500 by Benoit Gaurant is now available for MSFS 2020 over at Flightsim.to.

I must say its become one of my favourite MSFS planes. Flies beautifully and behaves convincingly. Definitely a hidden gem.

I'm having a few problems with winch launching but it seems quite nice to fly once airborne. Might bring back some memories for ex-air cadet types....

There's a new repaint for the MSFS DC-3 over at Flightsim.to featuring G-AMPY in the RAF Transport Commmand livery that she wore a few years ago when she was based at Coventry (I had a flight on her up to the Wattisham Air Display in 2007).

It's a joy to fly - feels like it was THE plane that the sim was built for.....

And there's the Rapide of course. That made it in 14 days but sadly no ZH-ACO paint that I'm aware of....

Sadly I've not been able to make most old FS9/FSX aircraft work in MSFS since about sim update 2 and I'm definitely suffering Tiger Moth withdrawal symptons, although hopefully that will be ...

With the 88th anniversary of the England - Australia air race coming up next month, it's good to have a DH88 Comet in MSFS.
