Re: Bristol 171 Sycamore in the works
Hi Guys sorry for not replying. Currently i am making FSX only as in my view it's a better platform for making a detailed model without it bringing the host PC to it's knees. I love FSX and have no problems with it as long as whatever i am flying is built for FSX. Not saying FSX is better but it's ...

Re: Bristol 171 Sycamore in the works
FS 9 would mean effectivly making a seperate model Those that have moved on to FX.X have moved on and it is pointless going back The FS.X model will contain features that can't be done in FS.9.that is the point of the new sim. The is no such thing as an FS.9 compatable FS.X model and to be asked fo...

There is a Hawker Raytheon package at Simviation. I tried it out and was not happy with it but you never know it might light your fire........

Re: Has the tide turned? FSX or FS9?
I finally got FSX running half decently on my system but I am still not impressed. There are features that I like and some of the scenery does look great. However with the exception of the Goose none of the standard aircraft light my fire and as yet there are not many freeware aircraft available and...

It looks lovely - I can remember seeing one of these parked at Hatfield years ago.

Re: JM's New - 146
I think the simple truth is BAe Systems saw that the money was in the arms industry. All the great names, all the great designers, test pilots, wind tunnel engineers, and craftsmen simply pissed up the wall so that BAe can buy rifle ammunition from India to sell to the Government.....

Re: JM's New - 146
The 146 was also designed to be very quiet in a time when noise polution from aircraft was becoming increasingly undesireable. I cannot see many 111s operating out of London City! Additionally if I remeber correctly (I worked on the 146 in the late seventies and early eighties - not in an important ...
