Haven't been here for a while but just had to write when I saw this.

I spent many hours at RAF Ouston in the late 60's, at that time it was under care and maintenance but housed the Northumberland UAS, No.8 AEF and 624 VGS.

What a superb historic site, it's now on my favourites.

My daughter pased out of Halton January 2001 and it still looks ths same.

That instructor looks younger than some of the airmen he is teaching.

I hope that this expands and it deserves to be a huge sucess.

Not all that much interest shown by the media, did'nt even make the BBC news as far as I know.

Was mentioned by Sarah Kennedy some 4/5 days after the news here.

Seems a lot of people nowadays are not interested in what made this country great.

Re the Vanguard, I thought the original release way back in the 60's was in the BEA red square livery as was the comet at one time.

Hi folks the pest is back.

I've recentley dowloaded some "interesting" light and GA aircraft.

The main problem is not one of these are British viz: Beech Bonanza and Twin Bonanza, Beech King Air, APM Lionceau etc.

It would appear that British light/ga types have been severly neglected in the fs ...

Series 1 & 2 Airfix kit came in plastic bags with the header containing the instructions all from series 3 and above came in boxes.
That box looks very early due to the logo and the fact that it states in large print the scale and wingspan.
