Not when a surprise Operational Readiness Exercise has been sprung on you by the AOC! Apparently, managing the take-off restriction is part of the exercise.

Re: Take-off distances for VC10
Nigel, I agree, that's an excellent rule of thumb... as the saying goes "close enough for government work" ;) I should have thought of that myself. The runway I have available is just a shade under 6000' (RAF Chivenor) so it'll be interesting to see what fuel weight I can take up... fighte...

Re: Take-off distances for VC10
The VC10 I'm flying is a K3 tanker. I'm operating out of a short runway so can't take the max fuel load to AAR, just need some way of working out what the max possible load is with the given runway length.

Take-off distances for VC10
Hi folks,
Can anyone point me at a table of some sort for take-off run vs weight for the VC-10s? I've seen the bits on the VC-Tenderness site but it's not enough. Many thanks in advance.

VC10 parameters for FSNav
Hi folks... I nearly got very wet having used what were obviously wrong figures for the VC10 planning in FSNav. Has anyone got a set they can post up that they know are reasonably accurate? I need values for the VC10 and Super VC10.
Thanking you in advance...

Thanks for the link Paul. I remember hearing about Philippe dying, but not the details. Sad. :-(Paul K wrote:No, it didn't.impearse wrote: A question... did the Cousteau catalina survive the incident in which Philippe died?

The Lancaster that Just Flight sell for FS2004 is being reworked for FSX.Roger wrote:It would be nice but wholly unlikely to see a commercial project of the Lancaster let alone the Lincoln in FsX.
