Tough training!
So after an 18 or so month gap I decided to return to the VA to fly some more Rapide flights, and obviously due to this gap I have to re-new my TR. I flew from Liverpool to Ronaldsway no problem, but on the return leg I was around 30 miles out when the mother of all fog descended upon Liverpool! I c...

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
I think this is the correct place to ask, please correct me if I'm wrong.
I am just returning after a long absence (I believe its been around 18 months!) and would like to re-new my type rating on the DH-89.
Thanks,
Jonathan.

Re: Rapide Resources
Never forgetting the all important loading fuel before taking off . I seem to always forget that one
EDIT:
Just reading through that FSNav entry, do you really fly as low as 1500 feet? I usually take it up to 5000

Rapide Resources
Hi. I've been flying the DH89 for a little while for the VA but have been missing a couple of small things which would make my life a bit easier. First thing. Does anybody have an FSNav profile for the DH89? At the moment i'm just using a quickly customised Cessna Skyhawk profile which is far from i...

Nice Weather at St. Marys Today...
I've been taking G-AFEZ on an excursion lately and up to this point i'd been quite lucky with the weather (ignoring the ridiculous winds we've been having lately!). However, starting off at plymouth today was dull and raining, although the visibility was not too bad. But by the time I got to St. Mar...

Computers, you have to love them ..
Jon.
P.S If it helps to avoid confusion, the password used on my original account and the one where I reapplied were the same. However, I get locked out if I use that, so it doesn't really narrow down which account i'm actually using.

oh! I think I just worked out why you thought the repaint is default.
