Re: Comet INS

Numb bum Richard?? ;) Very. 32 year old cushions, well, dont.... Actually have to admit the 767 Jumpseat ranks up there with the L1011 (aft position only) For comfort or discomfort? Never jump-seated in either but the Tristar one looks as though it wouldn't be horribly bad. I flew from Erbil to Bag...

Re: Comet INS

And to think the only thing I get to ride in at my day job is my desk and my 5 x 10 cubicle.... :-( You might be surprised at how much the novelty can wear off..... I've done somewhere in the region of 2,000 jump-seat trips, mainly on the DC-10, B727 & A300 (but also a variety of others inc the...

Re: Australian GP..............

Hi Richard, but I am not even bothering to go to Valencia which is about 3 hours drive away. Having worked at GP's in the 80s and 90s, I do not think I could justify the cost or the hassle involved nowadays. BTW, I met a chap here last year (he has a house near me in Spain), he was head of security...

Re: Australian GP..............

On the subject of F1........

Is anyone visiting Bahrain for the race here? If you are, pls let me know, I'm based in Bahrain.

(I'm also an instructor at the off-road driving course / school which is part of the circuit so there's quite possibly a deal to be done re tickets)

Cheers
