Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

Hello all,

As I'm stuck in a hotel room for a week or so, I've managed to get FSX running in my laptop. Could I have a TR for the 1-11 please?

Thanks!

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

Thanks,

Slight issue though, there are no 146's at EGTE! I've only just noticed.

Re: Starting again...

You aircraft builder will know more about this than me, but doesn't the flight modelling in FSX react to things whereas X plane predicts?

Re: Starting again...

Hi Ben, glad to see you back. I had the same thoughts as you and I've gone to X Plane 11. Following a bit of a trial I then removed both FSX and P3D. I've not regretted it once. Ah ha! thanks Mike- that gave me the clue I needed!
This is the aircraft I did the IR in, a PA28-161.

Yes Nigel- I need to now convert it to an EASA IR, but that shouldn't take too long and 75% of it can be simulator work.

Re: 50 Years Ago Today

Re: 50 Years Ago Today

Yes Sir, Since 86. This is one of the many types kept @LNA I've been lucky enough to fly. (I'm in right seat) Well who'd have guessed. I hired the 152 from Palm Beach Flying Training N49469 and I did my IR at Sebastian- in the hangar next to where they make the Velocity. If I could work out how to ...
