Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

The Coolsky DC9 for P3Dv4 is very very good. The interactive program that it launches is like nothing I've seen on any other product. The tutorial appears in a little window and directs you around. There's systems schematics that react to what you do and the weight and balance system is great. Well ...

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

Morning,
Suppose I'd better ask for a TR on the DC9 then!
Question. The one at EGLL is a DC9-10. If the P3D model is a 30, will it know?

Re: Non-British aircraft

Hi Ady,

The schedule I have found is for 1995 so with the VC8s retired in 1988 from BM I assume the DC9s got it, maybe the ATPs.

Like I said, we can reflect the frequency, but that will require a lot of aircraft- at least this lets us trial it.

Re: Non-British aircraft

Great, I've looked at the routes and got a block of 6 return destinations for East Midlands and Heathrow. I'd suggest the training routes come from the Heathrow block as the 3rd set has a longer flight as most training routes seem to have. I've no flight numbers, but here's the schedules for 2 aircr...

Re: Non-British aircraft

Ok, British Midland operated DC9s from 1978 until as late as 1996. I've found a list of destinations for 1996, but can't get anything earlier. It appears the bases were Heathrow and East Midlands with one at Edinburgh or Glasgow which served those two cities and Copenhagen. The rest seem to be retur...

Re: Non-British aircraft

Just had a flash of a memory- British Midland used to fly DC-9s didn't they? I don't suppose we could buy one or two could we? I'd be happy to research the routes- I know for one they used to have the Leeds Bradford- Heathrow one. Not sure if any of you have the CoolSky DC-9 but its a joy and would ...
