Andy,
As I recall FS98 didn't use .mdl files anyway, and that Argosy sure is an FS98 one. I have it from waaaaaay back, so its not surprising it won't work in FS9.

95p/litre? Don't make me laugh, around here it's in the 97p range and has been for ages, and there's one local station, the last before you get to the M48, where they have been selling at 99p for ages now. Not to me though! The Motorway service areas are well into the 98-99p range countrywide ...

And they still have to solve the AEW problem. I can't honestly see the AEW Sea Kings lasting that long and anyway they were always a 'stop-gap' measure. As there is only one carrier-borne AEW aircraft in production in the world now, the E-2 Hawkeye, would they handle flying off a ski-jump? I bet an ...

Garry and Andy, Screenies? Once you've seen one airship hull you've seen them all really, but I suppose the R100 is more distinctive than most with its big 'Flats' on the hull. I'll see if I can throw something together..... Re EH, I surely did not grasp the full significance here, and misread their...

That does look good for sure. There just HAS to be an RAF NF3 in the line thouhgh surely? They just need to delete the pen-knib fairing and the hook and the job's done, apart from the small issue of textures of course....... As the first jet I ever flew in was an NF3 (West Malling I th...

Dave, See my post elsewhere about the FS9 version of FD4. Equally rubbish and a waste of the 'discounted' price to my mind. I've had every version of FD from V 1.0 upwards and it peaked at FD3 I reckon. The FD4 aircraft files work OK with FD3 so long as you use the FD3 panels, and they do look bette...

Dave, I'd agree 100% about FD4, an upgrade it isn't............ To my mind FD3 was the best version about, with Rob B's tweaked carrier gauges etc. I suspect that Abacus wanted to have their own 'in-house' landing and take-off add-ons and made a right mess of it. And all this in FS9 too, goodn...

Garry, It's actually still there, just textured 100% transparent so you can't see it. If you set the weather to sunny you can still see its shadow rolling down that ramp, looks slightly odd, but that's life I guess. I have no idea of its purpose either, a real load would have looked much better. Now...

English Heritage seem to have very little knowledge about the meaning of the second half of their own title! What do they exist for if they just give up when they're needed? Those sheds are just about the only bits left to remind people just what the big rigids were all about. Unless you actualy go ...
