Re: BOAC Boeing 747?
Thanks guys, For the clearification. As always, its a joy to witness this plethora of historic knowledge found in here! So I will patiently wait till one day, when someone has painted a G-AWNA/D, preferably for the RFP. (If not a BOAC Comet 4C  ) Maybe I should take paint classes myself? Is it ...

BOAC Boeing 747?
Hi, As far as I know, BOAC existed just long enough to get a couple of 747-(100 or 200?) in their hangar, before it all went BA. Now, I have been playing with the RFP 747-200 for a while now, and appearently there is no BOAC livery in any of the livery packages. Have I overlooked something, or is th...

Re: Concord(e) for FS9?
Hello again, Thanks for the input. Appearently the SSTSIM goes a little deeper systemwise. I also like the fact, that SSTSIM has a little more historical attention, by including the prototype and preproduction models as well. And thanks also for the book tip, I will take a look at them as well. I ha...

Concord(e) for FS9?
Hello,
There are two payware options (SSTSim and Just Flight) and one freeware (Project Mach 2) I know of. Any other? Which one can you recommend? I am this time willing to go for a payware version, given it is significant better than freeware.
BR,
Anders

Re: VC-10 forgets INS settings..
Thank you for the reply.
I will address the issue over at Simufly, which I think Marco Ravanello administrates.

VC-10 forgets INS settings..
Hello, Once in a while we experience BSOD, or for some other reason have stop in the middle of the flight, to reload it later. However, as I restart a saved flight with the VC-10 using INS navigation, the INS is turned off on the MSU and all coordinates are forgotten :'( Is there a way to save the I...

Re: INS.
Hello Peter,
I am sure that GPS is much easier. However, I am currently in a "classic" period of my FS usage. Hence I try to fly as they did in the 60-70´es. Over at HJG, they have intentionally removed GPS.

Re: INS.
Thank you,
for the answers. That is what I thought, that the mid- and short range planes mostly used VOR/NDB navigation.
However, my (solely MSFS!) experience is, that even for a midrange flight, INS can come in handy.

Hello,
The VC-10 has INS as one of the navigation aids. What about the Vanguard or other british aircraft?

Re: Favourite British freeware aircraft
Hi,
Hmm... I think that I spent most time with the Argosy, the Vanguard a close second.
However, currently my favorite british must be the Tupolev Tu-144. The assumption being, that Kim Philby and his friends handed over all the blue-sheets of the Concord to the russians
