DH89 Fuel Gauge

Hi There :hello: Started training flights on Dragon Rapide today and noticed that the fuel gauge selector wont work in the VC although seems ok in the 2d cockpit Also the model seems to use fuel from the port tank first before starting on the other tank, this causes nagging from the sim ( press ctrl...

Re: G-AZSU

The 748 behaves on tarmac the same as the native fs aircraft do on grass. That is it bogs down as soon as power is reduced. I would hazard a guess there is some settings in config file that determines on how it rolls depending on the terrain surface. I try to avoid taxying, usually appearing at the ...

Re: G-AZSU

Hi Michael Good that you are enjoying the 748, she flies well dosnt she. and no problems with overspeed below 10000ft!! :) I have difficulty on taxying though, she needs umphs of power to get moving then throttle back and brake to stop her exeeding 25 knts There are other issues with fsx but no big ...

Re: Navigation in UK/Europe

I know exactly what you mean. I tend to use a sort of dead reconing when changing heading some way out from a radial Hopefully picking a new vor before any drift becomes significant ( I hate it when atc trys to push you back on course) If vors are very sparse I resort to tracking the flight path wit...

Fairly sure though the date was Sat 15th December 1979!! Should have flown out of Venice, but airport was f...

Re: Couple of problems with Trident in FSX

Ive not flown the trident for a while but I cant think if there is a master switch for the autopilot. So if its in a default off condition theres no way to switch it on.Try a loading a default aircraft first and switch the autopilot on If it works ok, leave it on and change aircraft to the trident I...

Re: VC Pan Speed in FSX

Hi Rob I'm watching this one as I'd like to do the opposite and I'd like it a bit more incremental as its sometimes a pain to bet it to stop back, on front field of veiw after panning left or right

Re: Hybrid measurements in FSX

Thanks for reply Chris Will stick to using Metric for fuel loading but will swap over to US measurement to print out the nav log ( then swap back to Hybrid before loading the flight ) Not sure if anyone is using anything other than the inbuilt Nav log, which was the main reason for posting I like th...
