Re: ORBX in MSFS

Not at pc at the moment but I think the only Orbx msfs software I have is London City Airport and Singapore City pack. Both bought through the marketplace. No central required

Re: Black Box Islander for MS2020 - opinions ?

Yes, it's a good model, even though it doesn't come out of the hanger much (me being a tubeliner type ) This upgrade can only make it better

Two, 2Tb drives from ebuyer The m2 nvme is miles faster, both read and write. As Ben shows though, the Sata drive is still fast enough not to bottleneck msfs

Re: M.2 or SSD?

Can you fit 3 m2 drives in your machine Nigel? I can only have 2. Having said that I can fit one to a pci slot Not sure how it would compare speed wise. M2 drives are much faster than ssd, as you know. I think you would see an improvement speed wise by running msfs on m2 Can't you clear the non wind...

Great Paul 👍Are the kids in the back asking are we there yet? Ive said it before I love the history lesson behind the journey. Who the hell are these people that make the scenery for these far flung, unlikely locations ? Trying to find scenery for somewhere slightly off the beaten track in Fsx...

Re: Internet Providers.

As Ben says, Nigel, it depends on the load on the uploading server. I usually find msfs updates at between 40 to 60 Mbps. Sometimes faster sometimes slower (I've got an 80 Mb connection)

It does show Tacan at Tindal Airport on the latest charts Paul
AFAIK msfs uses Navblue for the Navdata, which is updated pretty well every sim update. Most of us prefer Navigraph, especially if you are subscribed to it 8)

Re: Now I am really........................

Sorry to hear your trials with your Internet Not sure what to suggest I think there's a lot to be said about being with bt At least you are assured of some response. It also seems to be related to where you live and of course distance from the box etc. If you read my post to Paul, I found that the p...
