Diversion airfield

Something I've never been sure of and hopefully some-one out there has the answer When planning a flight, and before take-off, what factors must be taken into account, and how do I decide on which airfield to choose as the diversionary airfield should things go belly up with the weather etc on route ?

Re: Memories

God......I remember everything in the original post, and most of those in the follow up's. We used to live in a prefab in a village in Essex when I was young. The prefabs were put up by German POW's to house people put out by the blitz. I remember they had boilers (the washing machine of the day), w...

Re: Dambusters Declassified - TV Programme

That is a really excellent programme. "The Dambusters" (along with "Reach for the sky"), has always been one of my favourite films, and it's a little sad to see some of the romantic myths created in the film disproved, but it takes nothing away from, and even adds to the bravery ...

Re: Aircraft off station with no current pilot

Ho Hum :(( ...........I re-allocated the shift+enter again, and it all seems to be working now, except guess what ? ..........No aircraft sounds. I've got FSX sound but nothing from the aircraft (Engines etc). I've realiased them top the default King Air, but zilch.

Sorry, but any ideas ?

Re: Aircraft off station with no current pilot

It's there Garry, just not working.

I deleted the assignment and then re-set it, but still no joy. It's only FS9 aircraft that it affects, shift+enter works OK for FSX aircraft. As I said........strange.
