It was released with no expectation of any further work, so don't hold your breath for cowl flaps.

Thanks George. After it worked with substituted BMPs, I finally decided to kill off the one I was using, and re-do it from scratch. It now works! For some reason, it just didn't like that file. I thought I must have crossed some imaginary border into forbidden territory. Now past midnight again, but...

I've tried tiny steps to try and identify the problem: Made a flat surface....creates .bgl OK Applied a known working extended BMP.....creates .bgl OK Took the desired 24bit BMP and saved as extended BMP Added that DXT1 to FSDS Textures, converted it as warned must be 1...

I've assembled a few fsc s, but have a mystery: Several are collections of buildings and tanks, which appear OK in FSX. One is a pair of discs 1800m x 1000m, each with a 1024x1024 extended BMP, which also appears OK in FSX, and I can place self made objects on the location. The problem comes when I ...
