Re: News from Wiltshire

Would that have been the "town bike", or his private one?*** Did hear about a teenager who had his way with his new car's exhaust pipe, and another male who went to hospital emergency, as he was stuck inside a milk bottle. Going back a few years, a (female) comedian told us on TV that most...

Re: An unwanted guest?

This thread is getting too intelligent for me! How can I cope when folks talk sense? That'll be it, I had a freeware for yonks, then it must have updated to V..(?), and my free time ran out. Agreed, some malware is just annoying spyware that might slow your system down, but if you get rid of it, it'...

Re: An unwanted guest?

Just checked-Control Panel-Uninstall or change program(me) The originators are all listed under "Publisher" If the publisher looks dodgy, it probably is. Had a feeling that icons appeared, but I don't see them now. Don't have MWB any more, as it stopped being freeware. Maybe the icons were...

Re: Just Flight Tristar 24 Hour Offer

The whole 814Mb is on my system, but when I say OK to run, it does zilch.
I know that I'm slow - I had 316 points available, but didn't use them.
How many $ is a point worth, chaps?

EDIT: did another d/l today, and it installed OK, but still haven't flown.

Re: An unwanted guest?

Well, Dave, We had a problem 12 months or so back. I used Malwarebytes as it was recommended by a radio techie. IIRC, you can view a list of progs and their authors. Not sure if this was in MWB, or simply Control Panel? Whichever, you can see whether the files originate with MS or others, which is a...

Check your eyes, gents. :worried:
Yes this non-believer in aeroplanes without propellors couldn't resist the bargain. It has 57min to finish downloading, and I'm doing a system backup, so there's no way I'll fly it tonight.
