Re: What a happy bunch of Matelots :-)
Fancy including the aircraft taxying around - spies could get no end of information from that! :dunno: What, how to taxy an aircraft? I don't think that's classified as such, certainly nothing you couldn't get from going and standing at the viewing area at Yeovilton or looking at various pictures o...

Re: de Havilland DH114 Heron
Looking good Derek!
One flew over our place about 15 years back. Harsh on the ears; is that common for the Gipsy? I saw one brought up from Tassie to the Moorabbin Air Museum, looked rather tatty at that time.
Keep it rolling along, boss.

Hey Dave,
"Yeh, well.. I don't fix things that aint broke. I didn't find anything wrong with IE6.. it did what I wanted it to do. Newer isn't always better"
It's just a way of filling up those lazy gigs on your drive

Re: Flight Update.
Well folks, About 10 days ago, I put some questions to the MS Flight team, including whether it will be online only, like the latest IL-2, and whether they've put any effort into realistic night skies. All I've had is a note to say "I'm out of the office....." Not exactly inspiring. I have...

Re: Northern Lights
Good oh. Now, I just fixed my document path in AutostarX, and hey presto, we have a very recognizable Orion looking down from about the right spot. Not only that, but I've turned on Planet Labels, which is handy. This is going to make night flying something to see for us VFR bods. Hats off to Chris ...

Re: Northern Lights
Thanks Garry, In FSX I had to wind the clock back one hour to get the moon in its right position, due to daylight saving time. The shape and orientation is as the real one tonight. http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc389/Airspeed-pix/For%20CB/ChipmunkfacingNorth.jpg I've communicated with rhose DC...

Re: Northern Lights
Ready for a check, Garry? 22/11/11: "One thing I've not checked is the it should be upside down in the Southern Hemisphere compared to the North" 10:15 Tonight (29/11/11 Australian time, and our 42nd wedding anniversary), the actual moon crescent looks like a "lazy C". How does i...

Re: Mutiple crew experience- Anyone used it?
Personally, never even heard of it, but if it's a free trial, I'd give it a go, unless of course it's mega size and you don't have spare speed or storage space.
